I’m looking for some genuine career advice from people who’ve been through a similar phase.

I have 17 years of experience in IT, and for the last 5 years I’ve been working as a Solutions Architect in a consulting firm. On paper, it looks like solid experience, but honestly, I feel like my career has hit a plateau.

A lot of my recent work has been more around client discussions, solution design, documentation, and stakeholder management, with very limited hands-on technical work. Over time, I feel like my technical depth is slowly fading, and that worries me.

My goal is to move into a product-based company, ideally a MAANG-level organization, in an Architect / Senior Technical role where I can build a more stable long-term career.

I’ve tried different approaches over the last few years—applying directly, certifications, interview prep, networking—but nothing seems to be clicking.

Any realistic roadmap or strategy that worked for you?

I am thinking to learn from someone and make myself interview ready, please advice

Thanks in advance.
