I’m an international student currently in New York and trying to figure out the best credit card to use while I’m here. I’ll likely be leaving the U.S. in about a year after I graduate, so I’m looking for something simple and practical for a short-term stay.

I’ve seen that Chase Freedom Unlimited is offering a $250 bonus right now, which sounds really tempting.

Would that be a good option in my case, or are there better cards for international students with a shorter timeline?
