Hi Reddit!

I have a couple of questions, I hope the community help me solve.

The house has water damage a pipe break in the second floor and flodeed to the walls in the first floor.

Some celing and wall panels come off.

Question: I see some water behind the plastic barrier, in some places is just a little bit of mousture, in the most affected wall there is fungus, I have being appliying some anti fungus liquid (probably bleach based) where I see it, but I want to ask if would be a good idea to remove the plastic to apply or just to make it dry ?

Current situation, the contractor can visit in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to control moisture and fungus with vents and anti-fungus liquid.
