Quick tip for LMDF
The perk that grants better drops at the cost of taking more damage (20% I think?) seems to be very well worth it. Obviously the earlier in the run you get it, the better.
I just tried it for the second time and immediately found a requiem. Then I got the 3 star mortal edge at my next chest, I found a couple other solid 2* weapons, and then I found a ghost grudge for the first time, got it off the chainsaw guy in RC.
The one other time I tried this perk was the day this mode was released and I remember I found a 2* and 3* gun not long after equipping the perk, mid-game, one being the Clatter Carbine.
Obviously this is a super low sample size, but I encourage you all to give it a try if you haven't. I've had really good luck with it so far. The only time I have found the Clatter Carbine or Ghost grudge has been with this perk enabled.
