I(31M) finished the insider last night, the al pacino tobacco whistleblower one. 2.5 hours of phone calls and document reading and i was locked in the whole time. want more like this.

stuff im already familiar with: zodiac, all the presidents men, michael clayton, spotlight, the report. doesnt have to be journalism though, anything where you're mostly just watching the work itself. science, law, intelligence, doesnt matter. older or foreign is fine.

main thing is i dont want movies where the job is just a backdrop for action stuff, or biopics that skip the actual work for the personal drama. that's the part that bores me.
