Been going through a federal hiring initiative recently, and infuriated by the hiring process length - how come federal employees and ex (retired) fed employees are ok with the length of federal hiring?
Can any retired fed employees shed some light on the “why” of federal hiring length.
I can’t imagine this helps with transfers or having flexibility for someone’s career.
Fwiw this is my timeline.
Feb 2nd Applied
April 9th TJO
Today ???
Eventually Profit
Just in my timeline alone, which I suspect is highly expedited, how are these timelines reasonable for any large entity.
