Hey everyone - I’ve been cruising around the internet learning about Amps, tubes, how they’re built and how they work, and wanted to do a comparison between Mesa Boogie amps vs Amplified nation. From a price perspective, they’re kind of in the same arena, but I’m wondering why someone would choose one over the other.

I understand tones will differ, but it seems like the Amplified nation offering has more value because they pretty much customize the rig according to your specs whereas with boogie you get what you get. Both seem like incredible offerings, but if someone is shelling out close to (or more!) than 5k for a head and a cab, why go one way or another?

Boogie has a solid history and following whereas amplified nation is a small boutique builder. I’d love to hear thoughts comparing the two since there isn’t much or any comparisons I was able to find online.

I did a quick google search and feel like I came up empty handed. I found an article on how to ‘decode’ the serial numbers as far as where they’re from and the year they were manufactured, but can’t find my specific serial number online with more info. Does anyone have a resource?
