Trying to find the location of a WW2 picture

Picture in question

I have been trying to find the location of this picture for the past couple years. It is a picture of Canadian soldiers from a unit that is local to me, the Saskatoon Light Infantry. It was from a website and did not have any information listed with it, no location or date. the SLI fought in Italy and the Netherlands, but the buildings led me to believe that it was most likely taken somewhere in The Netherlands in the spring of 1945. But that was as far as I could get.

Today, I ran across a picture on beeldbankwo2 of SLI soldiers in a different carrier listed as being in Rotterdam on Nobelstraat. No date is listed, but the Saskatoon Light Infantry was part of the liberation of Rotterdam on May 8,1945, so it would likely be on that date or shortly thereafter. The apartment number is clearly visible, so it was easy to confirm the location of 85B Nobelstraat.

Seeing the style of the apartment building got me wondering if the top picture was taken in the same area, since it seems to be mostly those styles of apartment buildings. It looks to me as it would have been an area where they were perhaps bivouacked after entering Rotterdam. Looking at historical maps, that area was on the edge of the city and seemed a likely area for them to camp. So I started looking all around those apartment buildings for likely spots. 3 apartment buildings in a row, with one perpendicular at the back and a small building in the foreground angled towards the corner of the main apartment building.

I came up with what looks like a match to me at 5 Kolkmanstraat.

Everything lines up, the apartment building in the middle looks correct on the end, the one on the RH side looks to be the right architecture and the garage in the middle is angled correctly. The picture is taken from a little further back than streetview would show so I can get the exact angle. What makes me question this is when looking at topographical maps from the time, these buildings did not seem to exist on the last topo map of Rotterdam from before the war in 1939. Also, with it grown up there, it's nearly impossible to see the style of the building on the side and the balconies.

I would really appreciate some feedback on this. Is it likely that these apartment buildings were built between 1939 and 1945? You can see that the middle portion on Nolenstraat was built at that time. Is this the correct location for this photo?

Headquarters squadron of 4th Canadian Armoured Brigade; O Group, R&R and maintenance, August 7th, 1944

From the Canadian archives, not uploaded digitally by themselves, these are just taken from the compilation albums of Canadian war photographers. This would be the day before Operation Totalize. Great clear, detail shots of Shermans and the men crewing them.

3 Canadian M-10 TDs during Operation Totalize, August 8, 1944

Came across this picture in the Canadian Archives WW2 photographer albums today. It's not been uploaded to their archives individually, so all there is on the internet is this scan so despite the glare of the scan/picture, I thought it was a pretty cool looking trio of TDs. Attributed to be the 4th Battery, 3rd Antitank, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division during Operation Totalize on August 8, 1944. Likely in the Cintheaux area.
