This book was downright delightful and I really hope we see more from this plot line. As my first AoS book I don’t think I could have started in a better spot and this was such a breath of fresh air compared to 40k novels. Most, if not all, the characters were exceptionally well written and each destination provides immense insight into the setting without being overwhelming. I rarely see such great endings in BL novels, this was easily the best conclusion I have read so far from their publications.
Perhaps I had the wrong impression of AoS going into this book but I feel like this setting is truly incredible and sorely overlooked by the wider Warhammer community. I definitely urge others who strictly read either 40k or Fantasy to give this setting a shot, I think you would be surprised at what you find!
