Hii so, I was on a trip to Laranjal (a beach in Brazil, RS) and I found this broken skull with a few vertebrae still attached. Couldn't find any more bones from the same creature in the sand. I haven't cleaned it yet, and I have no clue what animal this could be!!
I collect skulls but have a limited knowledge on them, me and my mom tried ruling out some obvious choices (seagulls, fish, turtles, rodents, etc) via image searching, no results came close aside from maybe a few bird skulls, which was my gf's first guess. I'm a little desperate looking for answers so I'm posting in lots of subreddits, I'd appreciate if anyone could share your thoughts!!
I'll gladly post more pictures if it could help identify this guy! :]
