My boomer relative keeps sending me videos from this account @chayahealing on Instagram. The use of AI is weird and I’m trying to understand what exactly is going on.
So first of all, AI or not, the account is suspect. The account is about Jewish based health wisdom. I’m Jewish and none of what she says is anything I’ve ever heard of.
Her name is supposedly Chaya Goldstein. No bio, no credentials, nothing about who she actually is on her site. She wears a stethoscope and doctor’s coat in every video after her first several videos despite not being a doctor.
She’s selling a 30 day reset with really extreme before/after pics and I can’t find a single real review of it anywhere.
The AI thing is confusing me. It’s not like the whole video looks AI:
• some clips are obviously full AI (there’s one of a woman peeing her pants that’s clearly generated)
• her voice changes between videos. people in the comments have pointed it out.
• her face looks weird in a lot of the talking videos. especially the mouth when I zoom in. but the rest of the frame looks like a real room with real lighting
• much of the videos don’t look AI textured, except her face
• in some videos her hands move in the exact same pattern over and over, like the same gesture
• some clips look much more real, with much more facial movement and clearer real teeth
Can anyone tell what the process here was? Like why change the voice and use some real clips? If they have an actor why not act the entire thing? Or is the whole thing actually ai?
I’m very surprised no one else is calling out that this is AI in the comments.
