for context, I’m a Hispanic boy living in the south and I’m really interested in politics and going into a career as a politician. I come from a relatively low income household, making under 16 K a year because my grandma supports most of our family, but I’m not gonna put her down as one of my guardians to get more financial aid.

3.9 UW, 10 APs
got 4&5 on most of them

1520 SAT

Awards:
Won National Champion at a regional debate tournament
Lots of Debate regional awards
Debate 1 year State Champion

Extracurricular:

  1. Canvassing & shadowing under a lobbyist for a board of education
  2. MUN - Co prez
  3. Speech and debate- Vice prez
  4. Political awareness club - founder and president started it junior year
  5. Job at my dads construction firm
  6. Wrestling all 4 yrs
  7. Political Campaiging
  8. Volunteer club, got lots of hours from it
  9. Volunteering at a soup kitchen for the homeless
  10. prolly some other club i’ll put down

in conclusion, I’m considered extremely low income, which I think will give me a boost in college admissions and I’ve also won a lot of debate tournaments so I genuinely do feel like I can do anything and get into any college might just be me
