I've been seeing The Collective around a lot lately for founder/co-founder events, and I noticed they just announced a partnership with ElevenLabs, which seems kind of big.

But are these events actually good / worth going to, or is it more just a well-branded networking/events company? Like do people pay to go, do companies sponsor them, what’s the actual model here?

If anyone’s been to one of their events, would love to hear what it was like:

• did it feel useful for meeting founders/builders?
• was it worth it?
• how do these things usually work financially?

Building can be such a long/lonely journey so I'm genuinely curious because from the outside it’s a little hard to tell if it’s a real community or mostly smart marketing.
