Expand the footprint?
I have an unfinished shed about 12’ from my house, the current interior space is about 12’x9’ with the room extending on to connect to the house. It already has a concrete slab, with another slab about 6” lower between it and the house.
It needs serious repairs, planning on finishing it out when repairing it to make it an office, sewing space, and hopefully have space for game nights. It feels tight for all of that, so thinking about expanding the footprint 4’ towards the house to make it 12’x13’, but this involves a lot more work than just reusing the existing framing and foundation everywhere. Any advice on laying out a space like this and if it would be worth making it bigger?
