Advice on property west of Spiddal

After 30 years in America my family and I are moving back to Ireland. We are lucky enough to work remotely and so are looking for homes off the beaten track. I fell in love with a home I found on Daft.ie and am willing to fly back to see it before making an offer. Of course my estate agent is singing the place to the high Heavens, but why has it been on the market so long? It seems overpriced but is anyone aware of any other reason why this house is still available? Go raith maith agaibh
