Might be a silly question but with all the talk of mixing RAM I’ve gotten a bit confused. I currently have a 32gb ddr5 Corsair dominator 5600mhz RAM, I video edit for work and recently my RAM has been nearly filling when working resulting in a lot of stuttering. It’s slowly becoming unbearable and a bottle neck.

RAM prices are bad so I don’t what to go and buy a 64gb kit and then go through the hassle of selling the current kit.

Can I get another identical set of the same ram and add that in? Or is there still risks as it’s not the same kit?

I had a case swap done from the Corsair 4000x to the HAVN HS420 non VGPU. Also upgraded my fans to the Lian Li TL wireless fans and the cooler is the Lian Li hydroshift 2 .

I was previously hitting 95-100 degrees celsius when gaming and video editing. Now my temps don’t pass 50-60 while editing in 4k and playing games on max settings!

Absolutely in love with this case!
