Help me folks - fresher who don't know what's right

Hey everyone,

I’m a final-year student from a Tier 2 commerce college (Delhi University), ews category, male.

Profile: CAT 2025 – 93.xx%ile | 10th – 89.3% | 12th – 96% | Grad – 7.9 CGPA (likely to improve)

Right now, IIM Trichy is my best call, I have converts from Raipur and kashipur too though. The people I’ve spoken to from there have been quite positive saying that the college is good, placements are going well even for freshers.

I’m torn between two options:

  1. Join IIM Trichy and move forward
  2. Take a job and prepare for CAT again

I keep wondering, am I settling too early, or overestimating my chances if I attempt again? I’m scared of regretting either decision. I know I have potential, but also fear if I’ll be able to pull it off better next year.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s faced something similar - what did you do, and how did it work out for you?
