I’m 4 weeks post op from Ross procedure and faced post-pericardiotomy syndrome. It showed up as a fever which made them fear infection and made me go through a very traumatizing 6 days in hospital with tons of needles involved. It’s over now, but now my fear is endocarditis. From getting UTIs to flossing to what I eat, I’ve turned into a germaphobe. It can happen years after surgery, but how do you guys handle this? I even hesitate to eat soft boiled eggs but I so love them
