Over the last couple of months I've been watching House and Senate Dems asking great questions (and to give credit where credit is due some Republicans) when Hegseth, Kennedy, Bondi, Patel, and Noem went to their oversight committee hearings. Is that enough though?

If it isn't what else should we be expecting from Dems?

I hate to sound like I'm being condescending but for some issues there's only one right choice to have. The constitution for example are rights we should protect and be proud of as Americans. One thing we are lacking though are other important features modern society has and that's universal healthcare and free secondary education. Let's not worry about education, it's affordable the Bernie Sanders model was said to have cost 60 million roughly 1/10 of the military budget, that's affordable so who cares there's no excuse to no pay for it. Healthcare however is more complex and something everyone seems to be focused on. Conservatives have their arguments when it comes to the cost of it, I'd say let them because we need that type of discussion. However what's immoral about it costing so much?

Recently I've been thinking about that. Since I was a kid, I wanted life to be easier for everyone. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are things we should all strive for. A big crutch to that is healthcare, and it's outright evil how our government fails to improve it when other countries figured it out fifty to sixty years ago. Thats embarrassing! Progressives come from a great place morally . Who cares about the cost, if Americans are too self centered to pay more in taxes then we are really that immoral and deserve to fail as a country. That's the thing though costs will be driven down because of a system like M4A. Studies have shown that and because of the cuts to Medicare we are seeing costs go up. Besides costs they have no argument and that's shaky at best.

The real argument and I wanna see more people bring it up is. Why should an eight year old die because of their parents income or why should a twenty one year old who just barely started their life. No matter what there's tons of tax paying law-abiding Americans who fit what conservative want Americans to be yet won't lift a finger to save them as their health fails them, they just want them to suffer. Why should people die because they can't afford life saving treatment? What's morale about that? They cry about what progressives want being immoral but how is saving lives immoral.
