Don't think low wage workers should get a living wage? Don't be mad, hatin is bad

This is about to be a bragging post, and I don't see one problem with bragging about this and rubbing it in the faces of people who don't want to see me and "lazy" people like me succeed.

I have a pretty easy and usually stress free job at a state university. Idk how it works in every state, but tax money goes to my pay, my benefits (including vacation time, which I'm not "supposed" to have) and may raises. Normally I get an annual raise, but thanks to cuts of state funding thanks to Donald Dump, I was told my 3% raise wasn't going to happen. I sighed, and decided I would just deal with it.

This morning I discovered my union negotiated a raise for all state employees! And it's much bigger than just 3%. In fact it will raise my pay by almost $10k a year! I can already imagine your triple chinned face turning beet red as you screaming "WHY SHOULD I PAY TAXES FOR YOUR JOB!!??" Pfft. Chump.

I started out making $10 an hour, walking or riding a bike to work in the snow, sometimes at 5am working 2-3 jobs at once. All this while people with easy desk jobs said I was "lazy." These were pretty stressful cooking jobs. No vacations allowed, working every weekend and holiday. When the COVID lockdowns happened, I didn't work and just collected my $4k a month for three months and spent that time jogging, gaming, and drinking. It's just a little side note since I know this makes conservatives mad. I deserved a little vacation. Anyway.

Now I'm a janitor. It's not a fabulous title but I am paid a lot for so little stress. Sometimes there are overtime shifts where I do even less work but get 8 hours of pay. I have an easy job where I make enough to afford a car and now my own apartment, and I didn't have to spend $50k+ on college, work 7 16 hour shifts a week in construction, or spend 4+ years in alalalalastan to get it. Don't be mad, hatin is bad.
