I went to a braiding shop to get my knotless braids done. (My normal braider was booked) I got smaller braids then normal. During process only two braids hurt where she pinched too tight. When she finished it didn't hurt, it also didn't hurt 2 days after the fact. I'm on day 3 and this morning when I woke up I had soreness is one of the braids that hurt while she was braiding. I did a warm compress and it isn't hurting now but I'm sopped wearing my hair pulled back. When I pull or hold it up it's tender at the root. I'm concerned, my hair is long and healthy and I've gotten knotless in the past and haven't had this problem.
Now I'm paranoid and I've been inspecting my scalp. I didn't before because my hair didn't hurt. While inspecting I see red marks on my edges. I have thin edges so I'm always cautious, when she braided she did it very gentle I didn't feel it. It's only one one side but now I'm nervous. Help!
