Hi all, I have never bought a rep bag before. I was initially after a Barenia version of this Mini Picnic Kelly, but everyone I asked quoted above what I am willing to spend on my first try. I accept that there is a learning curve to this so the first purchase is likely going to be "the pancake you throw away", but even to my newbie eye the PSP pictures I am getting seem terribly wrong. I feel like the leather is all crooked, like paper exposed to water, and that there is too much of it to start with. The finishing around the edges (wax?) is not the right color. The stripe of leather running under the bag seems diagonal, the stitching is messy, and the shape of the woven/wicker body of the bag is off. I did not pay a lot for it, but since the background of the pictures is different from what I was shown when ordering, I fear it's some kind of bait and switch trick. It seems like it's not even the same manufacturer. I will add the pictures I was shown before buying in the comments. Is this normal? And how do I give constructive feedback without causing the seller to send me a terrible item after all? My preferred solution is to get the bag I want, not a refund. This is a very well known and well reviewed seller across this and other subreddits. Thanks in advance.
