How Do I Get Rid of This Effect?
This vertical color fade-in just started happening suddenly the other day, and it's the ugliest thing I've ever had to look at. Is there a way to disable it? I much prefer not having whatever this is supposed to be doing happening.
This is on an iPad Mini, iPadOS Version 26.4.2. I don't usually do this so I'm not sure what to say for region other than North America, and I've tried looking through settings for an option, but I get dizzy trying to make sense of everything there.
EDIT: Turning off Increase Contrast makes the entire background the color instead of leaving it black.
EDIT2: User antcpz in the replies seems to have the best feedback on why this is happening; and if they are correct, this should resolve in a week or so. I'll return if/when it does and update this post appropriately.
