I've used Arch a couple of times and there is only one reason I don't stick to this distro: gaming.

I don't have a gaming laptop but I can play some old games like Batman Arkham Asylum, Minecraft, etc.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get gaming be as good as it is by default on other distros.

I can't get why it is. I always make sure to have all the needed packages. I have an intel i5-13420H and use its integrated graphics to play and the performance is way worse on Arch than other distros.

Is there some important configuration or package I'm missing to install?

Normally this is what I'd install: intel-media-driver mesa libgl libva libva-intel-driver vulkan-intel vulkan-headers vulkan-icd-loader mesa-vulkan-layers.
