I recently asked how others were mapping out their irrigation systems and a couple people recommended Turfile. If you are also a mapping nerd in turf like myself, I highly encourage you to check this out.

My assistant has been mapping out our system the last week all from his phone. I've also been outlining work directly on the map for him to complete and he gets notified immediately!

Really wish I found this sooner. Thank you for the recommendation🙏!!

I've been an assistant for quite some time now and I've noticed a problem in the industry. Most clubs have maps of their irrigation and drainage systems but they are usually severely outdated.

My question is, for someone who doesn't know cad, is there an easy way to start mapping out a system from a phone via GPS? I know if your rocking with rainbird or toro systems they have their own versions of head mapping, but that's not really what I'm talking about. Heads, valves, QCV's, even pipes. Just a simple way to start tracking the system. Have tried google maps but its not really cutting it.

Would value some input on what tools other people use.
