Type of game ideas that even for teams are way to large

Just as this reddit allow it, any game idea size/lore/other you can come up with is ok.

However i do see a lot of zeroes on likes and few comments.

More times than others its like someone woke up dreaming about something, or played another game but think their new mechanic could work, or an idea just randomly pop up in your sub-conscious with full lore and a fully fletched out game with everything in it, downloading to your brain in 1ms and you just 'get it'. "I MUST SHARE". Which again, is ok.

To me when i read the title of one of these game idea threads in this forum i dont even bother going in. Im an idea guy myself and its fun to share ideas, as you should, but keep in mind that reading an idea which is unrealistic even for a fairly large team is off putting.

I would rather read 100 small ideas rather than 1-2 large ideas.

I know its difficult to understand how large an idea could be. We are all different and some of you never touched code at all and is just gamers hoping a triple A gaming company CEO will read your idea and comment with a simple 'yes'.

But a suggestion from my side would be to "try" to keep the idea as small as you can.

If you think again about your idea and realize that if it would take a large tripe A studio a few years to make it, then maybe tone it down.

There is something called an MPV. Or even slices (i think it was something similar to a slice). MVP is short for 'Minimal Viable Product' which is a way of looking at something when its the smallest possible thing to make your idea work. Like a prototype to prove the game could be fun. While a slice was something similar, however, its not a prototype any longer, but still the smallest possible game size of your idea that could start generate revenue.

Reading these smaller ones, for me, tend to be more fun to read since its achievable to make that game. Maybe even as one person.

Rant over. Cheers! No harm is mean to be dealt.
