Obviously, everyone knows Russia is sanctioned, and I assume that means their government isn't allowed to own buildings in countries that sanctioned them.

However, recently I was on vacation in Nice, and our tour guide took us to the Orthodox cathedral there. Maybe the video was old, but there was an educational video that pretty much said the russian government controlled the cathedral, which I didnt think would be allowed.

Also our tour guide was from a balkan country and like was super pro russia and anti Ukraine, he also said he was a member of that Church.
