Hi there - I'm doing some research on gambling kingpin Joseph Moriarty, who was very active in Hudson County, NJ from about 1930 until his death in 1979. He had numerous run ins with the law. I would love to get my hands on arrest records and court transcripts and such. (In an extremely New Jersey way, he had a habit of beating the wrap, until the Feds got on his case...). Local libraries only really have newspaper archives and the local records office haven't been much help. I have solid ideas of the arrest / court dates from newspaper articles so it would be relatively easy to zero in on the right date in any police / court archives that might be out there. Thanks for any ideas, suggestions, pointers.
