Skin colours

I haven't painted any skin on warhammer before ( my other army was kharadron overlords) I know salamanders have charcoal black skin but I was wondering what paints I need to achieve this. I also wanted some try some more brown colours but once again not sure what to use. Any help is appreciated. Vulcan Lives

1k army

How does this list look for a 1k army against dark angels that my friend has, I'm pretty sure he has lion eljonson and not sure what to do against him. Any tips and advice are helpfull.
