Rounds chamber and my casings land at the 4 o’clock position but I need to push the bolt with the forward assist after almost every round for it to fire again. There’s plenty of lube on the BCG, possibly too much. I’m using a Magpul P-mag and Wolf 147 gr. Obviously not the best round but I don’t believe it’s the round that’s the problem. Should I adjust the gas closer to 3 o’clock or is the gas not the problem?

Final part for my 8” .300 BLK came in today. I’m going to adjust the gas block and sight this Wednesday. I have a Streamlight 1L-X Pro on the way and I’m planning on getting an Omega 300 for it in the near future. Would like to hear your thoughts and recommendations.
