So my bf's birthday is comeing up and one of the gifts I want to give him is 1 or 2 scfi books, but idk many books in this genre. He has talked about brave new world ( he liked it ) and also has a book with all of H.P Lovecraft's work. He also loves cosmic horror. Some books that I have heard people say were good were diaspora, embassy town, the gone world and ship of fools, but idk which ones he'll like the best or if these are up to his likeing without asking him which types of books specifically he likes ( I am bad at keeping secrets / surprises and he'll be able to know what I'm trying to do in no time lol )

EDIT: I have decided to get him the first two hyperion books and antimemtics
