I worked with a vocal coach for a while, and without a mic, she said my voice and volume is very powerful, too powerful most of the time so I had to dial it back usually.

When singing with my band, however, my vocals are so low and lost in the mix, even though I feel like I'm yelling into the mic! My two other band mates sing and have no problem being heard, so it's not our setup. They tell me I have to sing louder, and get right up to the mic, both of which I am doing. In my in-ear monitors, I can hear myself well, but our full room recording I'm completely drowned out.

I can't really find much on people have this exact problem, any help please!!?
