There's a vast amount of money being shuffled between a handful of companies for AI development with little to no use by the general public. The stock market continues to rise despite what is actually happening in reality.
It seems like the wealthy are operating in a separate economy than everyone else.
Can this continue? Will there be a point where the economy of the ultra-rich is completely (or nearly) divorced from the what most people interact with?
