23M, what explains my sudden career downturn?
Everything was going well until last week, good relationship with superiors, promised promotion. Everything was all hunky dory
All of a sudden, my supervisor told me they're disappointed in me and that I still have a lot of work to do and that the promotion won't be feasible at this time
This has been supplemented by me feeling extremely burned out in the office, and all of a sudden the job that I used to love has been one that I can't wait to leave
Can anyone explain why this has happened? And that too so suddenly?
