I’m a student at UH and got tired of how generic most study tools are (everything feels like Quizlet), so I built a simple website where you upload your lecture slides/notes and it generates custom: practice questions, flashcards, and study guides.

It’s all based on your actual class materials and tries to predict what’s most likely to show up on exams based on those materials.

I used it for my Physics exam 3 and scored ~30 points higher than exam 2, so I’m using it again for finals.
Figured I’d turn it into an actual app and share in case it helps. I’d also love any feedback, and my DMs are open!

Disclaimer: not sure if this is the right place to post this lol

I’m a student founder and recently submitted to 1517 Fund. The day after submitting, I got an email from Michael Gibson saying the idea was interesting and asking how I’d plan to proceed.

I responded the same day with more detail, but haven’t heard anything since.

To be clear, I completely understand how busy they are lol! I’m absolutely not expecting any kind of instant back-and-forth. What’s throwing me off is just the contrast between the really fast initial response and then silence afterward.

For anyone who’s interacted with 1517 (or similar early-stage funds), is this pretty normal? I’m holding out hope of course because it would be completely life-changing to move forward with them in any capacity, but I’m really just trying to see if this is a quiet pass or not.

Not trying to overthink it, just trying to calibrate my expectations. For context, I am moving on with other things obviously and continuing to build (and have actually sent an update email as well). This is just something that’s always in the back of my mind now lol I’d appreciate any insight!
