How much time is usually between firm offer and start date? I have a state job at the moment and wanna be able to give them more than 2 weeks if possible.

She we just started qualifying for champ VA…. Currently my wife is the one that hold out health insurance with the state and it’s fairly cheap.. But in the next month I am starting a federal job and she is thinking about quitting her job to finish her degree… this gives me the opportunity to pick up federal insurance but it’s a bit more costly…. I was thinking about just paying for Self Fed insurance and letting my family use the champ VA….. just curious is the insurance good enough ? My wife is very accident prone so we use health insurance a lot…

Just curious if anything has happen with it yet? It’s been a few months now.
