Me (21F) and I have been going to this massage place in Florida for years, I have always gotten massages from women in the past but the only available option was a male this time, and I’ve never been uncomfortable with the idea. The first time the massage was pretty professional other than the fact that he went lower on my sides near breast tissue which made me a tad uncomfortable but it wasn’t my whole breast. He also went more higher up on my inner thighs than what I’ve normally experienced, now he specializes in sports massage so I just kinda figure it’s just different technique. So in all I felt comfortable to go back since I’ve never had a my shoulders done that good since that’s my main complaint.
The second time I booked with him I was suffering from pain in my lower back from work, and along with my normal shoulder pain. I usally wear underwear but since I complained about lower back pain I went completely naked for this one. He started out good but I got more and more uncomfortable when he reached underneath me laying face down and massaged/stretched my under boob crease and while it might’ve made me a tad uncomfortable I figured it was something for my shoulder. Then he flipped me over and started on my legs, on my back he bent one of my legs so my knees were faced up towards the ceiling, he then sat on the table and positioned my foot underneath him while he massaged my thigh and inner thighs, I’ve never had a massage therapist sit on the table with me while massaging a “gateway area/sensitive area” before but he was on my bikini line area maybe like and inch away from it but with how high he was massaging if I didn’t have a wax that week he would’ve been massaging my pubic hair on my bikini line. The concerning part is that when he was on the table he had perfect eye line to my privates if they were exposed. While I did feel like maybe I was draped properly I felt exposed at times while he was massaging close to my bikini line. Also I don’t know if this is standard practice but he also placed my hands on my bare lower stomach under the drapes to move my hand out of the way usually they place my hands above the drapes but he did it so my hand was on my bare stomach which was new to me. He was also over the drapes stretching my buttocks apart (in a professional and seemed reasonable way) but google says that if it feels like it’s being stretched apart then he is being unethical and is not a standard practice.
It just felt more intimate the second time going to him so if any massage therapist can tell me if I’m just being paranoid or if I have a valid reason to be concerned? Because google keeps telling me that this is predatory behavior and I can’t really trust goggle knows all.
