spent the weekend redesigning the task list view of an app i'm working on; would love some honest design feedback

been doing a massive UI overhaul on TimeKnot (currently live at timeknot.app, but looks different from this; full redesign is rolling out soon).

new direction: clean and functional. clear hierarchy, breathable spacing, no clutter. every element earning its place.

things i'm trying to nail:

  • making project hierarchy obvious without being loud
  • task statuses readable at a glance
  • items on the right on every row not fighting for attention

honestly torn on a few details (color of the status pills, how prominent the avatars should be, whether the time blocks on the right should be subtler or go completely).

posting on some communities b4 going live - for some feedback before i ship it. what's working? what feels off?

so we built TimeKnot for our own design team because every time tracker we tried felt either too basic or way too over-engineered...

also just shipped an AI agent inside the app that handles task creation, time logging, day planning, and reports automatically. recorded a quick walkthrough showing how it all fits together.

we also made sure to make barrier for entry 0, so its free to start and super simple to use timeknot.app - Any feedback would be great (Especially from this subreddit! - You guys are awesome <3)

we've been working on TimeKnot for a few months. it's a time tracker with task and project management, calendar view, team stuff.

just added an AI agent that helps you log tasks, pull up reports, and plan your day. recorded a walkthrough showing how it works.

would love feedback from people who actually use time tracking daily. what's missing? what feels useful vs gimmicky?

timeknot.app if you wanna poke around - its free
