YA Novel about a girl with a mentally unwell mother
The story is about three children with the book being narrated by the oldest daughter named Merle, after fighting with the grandmother the mom leaves with the kids and the girl meets a boy at the library,(if I remember correctly he leaves her for his ex at the end). The book cover had a boy on it with platinum blond hair and blue eyes.
