Nausea fixes?
Trigger warning for that phobia about getting sick
Hey there, my situation is complicated but the root issue is pretty simple. I have smoked marijuana every day for about a year. There’s lots of reasons why, but primarily a combination of substance abuse and self medicating for endo pain.
I get really nauseous when I’m in pain or hungry, and sometimes fall into cyclical vomiting specifically on the first few days of my period if I can’t keep ibuprofen down. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions for pain derived nausea?
So far I’ve tried and liked bananas, walnuts or pecans, and right now for the first time I’m trying mint tea. Normally they immediately kill any need to vomit. I also have Dramamine, which I have only used once but also works. I guess I am not wondering for quick fixes but rather changes maybe in diet or changing eating times or something similar that might decrease my overall nausea.
I am quitting smoking as of today in preparation for a trip to a country where it is not legal. I’ve been lowering my marijuana intake, so possibly my nausea has been increasing solely because of that. I’m not sure, but either way the vomiting causes pain causes vomiting so I was hoping somebody here has similar symptoms and more experience.
