Doing a ride along, any tips or advice.
Hi, for some context, i am a 18 year old female and currently about to be an emt student. i have a eight hour ride a long coming up in two weeks, the station i requested mainly handles medical calls, there are about only 6 personnel at the station, and i wanted to bring something for the crew, as a thank you. what would a good thing be to bring? it'll be a 8am-5pm
Also i wanted some advice on how i can stand out in a good way, not necessarily to get hired right away, considering since i still have the fire academy to go through. but to leave a good impression for the future.
Ill be starting an EMT class in about a week or so, so I don't know a whole ton yet, other than the three chapters that i needed to read before class, and being BLS certified, im really excited this will be my first on. So do you have any advice for making a good impression during the ride along, or anything i shouldn't do?
Also i want to arrive like 30 mins early is that ok?
