passing as an average med student

Hi docs! Finals szn and of course my brain is tired and reflecting so much on everything as an incoming clerk

I’m just an average student. Sometimes I get high scores, sometimes I get low scores, so often times it evens out. Thanks to the curve, my grades tend to look better than they’re supposed to. But sometimes, I feel like I’m being too complacent. Many times, I get scores of 65-74 (passing in my school is 75) in major exams and just hope that the curve will carry me over (to which it does). While I’m able to pass all my subjects, I can’t help but feel like being complacent over low-average grades shouldn’t be a norm(?). While it’s good that these low grades don’t make me go insane, I’m worried I’ll do bad in clerkship or my grades won’t be enough for a good internship hospital in NCR.

Will I be fine? Hope to hear from clerks/grads who were in the same situation as me 🥹

Good luck to everyone this finals season! Fightingggg
