Diflucan made my sinuses drain and cleared my ears, but my ENT isn't believing me
I'm struggling so so hard with allergies right now, especially indoors which sucks. In addition to this torture, my sinus issues and new ear fullness/pain/hearing reduction took off when i got covid in a mold filled apartment. Fast forward and i got diflucan to take for a yeast infection. Within hours of taking it, my ears and sinuses started to drain.
The side effects were awful, but I'm willing to go thru short term pain for long term gain. This is killing my sleep and my life and threatening my job. But I messaged my ENT and the office responded with 'it shouldn't affect your sjnuses'.
They've been dismissive in general and honestly I feel like getting a second opinion. I have a turbinate reduction scheduled but I've had one before and it just doesn't fix everything. This is the first thing that actually made a huge difference and they aren't even listening.
