Just like the text suggested, I had a binge episode that spanned six weeks, starting on March 19th and ended yesterday, May 4th. Through the binge episode I managed to gain 8.8 pounds and I don’t know how to feel. While I am glad that it wasn’t anything above 8 pounds, I am also a bit disappointed in my actions. Before I started binging I was only 12 pounds away from my goal, but now I am 20 pounds farther. I am trying to approach my recovery in a positive and mindful manner so I don’t return back to binging. I honestly don’t know how to feel about this but I am hoping that by some miracle, I only gained 4-5 real pounds. I am hopeful that I can return to my old once a day eating habits so I can lose the weight I am supposed to.
