I originally booked a Celebrity Constellation cruise through Costco Travel. Three days later I switched to the Celebrity Ascent (Aqua Class), departing one week later — still Celebrity, but booked thru vacations to go

When I made the switch, I was told I’d only lose $100 of my $900 deposit, so I felt comfortable moving forward. Today Costco informed me I’ll lose the entire $900. I’m hard of hearing, so I may have misunderstood — but I’m frustrated that Celebrity would penalize me for simply switching to another one of their own cruises booked the same week. Costco says it’scelebrity’s rule not Costcos.

Has anyone dealt with this? Any tips for getting the deposit back
