Hello,
I was just getting back from a little walk when I started to sit cross-legged, which is how I'm most comfortable sitting ("criss-cross applesauce," if you will). I had a bit of a lightbulb moment - could sitting like this potentially restrict lymphatic flow? I've always preferred sitting like this and actually find it verging on uncomfortable to sit with my feet on the ground. The best way I can describe it is almost like a craving - it just feels like my legs are supposed to be in this position, and it feels kinda unnatural when they're not. After a while of sitting, I do have to get up, bc it feels like my hips get tight, but I also thought that might happen for any sitting position.
Anyway-
Does anyone else prefer to sit like this? Or, has anyone seen a relationship between sitting cross-legged and increased swelling/pain?
Thanks for reading.
