Hey everyone,

I need some guidance regarding my water bill situation.

I currently have around 40,000 in pending dues, but the issue is that water supply in my area is very irregular — sometimes there’s no water at all, or it comes at odd hours. Because of this, I stopped paying regularly since it didn’t feel justified.

Now a friend told me that it might be possible to reduce the bill either by:

- going through an agent, or

- visiting the water board office and filing a complaint

I’m not sure what’s legit and what’s risky.
