Hi, it’s me again… I just need to vent a bit.

So, we have an upcoming company trip, and I was actually really excited about it. But yesterday, when I checked my flight details, I realized something that made me feel quite upset.

Apparently, my boss booked business class seats for himself and all my colleagues, while I’m the only one placed in economy class, completely on my own.

I don’t really understand why it has to be this way. Isn’t a company trip supposed to be something where everyone sticks together and enjoys the experience as a group? If anything, why not just have everyone fly economy instead of splitting it like this?

I get that everyone else has been with the company for over 10 years and I haven’t. But if the intention was to separate like this, then maybe it would’ve been better not to include me at all, or just go with the long-time staff.

It’s not that I’m ungrateful, I do appreciate being included.... but I’ve honestly never traveled alone before, and the thought of flying by myself while everyone else is together just makes me feel really left out.

Now I’m even starting to wonder if I should just skip the trip altogether. I don’t know… I’ve just been feeling quite upset ever since I found out.
