i keep looking up my peers on linkedin and i feel so behind. i’m kicking myself because despite trying my best i’m still not getting good grades and i’m lost as to what i need to do to catch up and i just feel so hopeless, like HOWW do people manage to get all these amazing ECs??? i feel like i’m letting my whole family down and myself too. i’m in first year with 3.8 gpa and some generic ECs and i know i still have a little time but it’s hard, just needed to vent.

Got my first year grades back and it’s not looking so great, can you guys share if your grades trended upwards or downwards and any relevant details? I’m just a little stressed and could use some advice on if people generally do better after first year. Med is my dream but if the outlook is not so great I should transfer asap as to not have too much debt. thanks in advance!
