Eforms - "Special Character" in Trust Name
I'm preparing to file my first Form 1 using a new trust (actually bought in Nov 2025 but just got around to notarizing and trying to use it). My trust name includes a period after an initial (example X.) and EForms is throwing an error that only alphanumeric characters and spaces are allowed....

Has anyone dealt with this recently? Is a paper form 1 really required to use the existing trust or can I omit the period - I ask because I also found a reference where the ATF said hypens should be excluded in other areas?
Just wondering if I should gamble on submitting with the missing period, or if it would be worth obtaining a new trust because of .gov incompetence on not allowing normal characters in a name.
I'm trying to form 1 some SBRs and then move existing individual suppressors over to the trust. My plan was to submit one and make sure everything was good before submitting the bulk forms.
